AutoEntry pricing in 2026: credits, plans and what invoices really cost

AutoEntry, part of Sage, sells monthly bundles of credits: from $13 for 50 credits to $469 for 2,500, excluding VAT. An invoice costs 1 credit, or 2 credits if you want its line items, and a bank statement 3 credits a page. Every plan has unlimited users and clients. So the plan you need depends less on how many invoices you get than on whether you need their lines.

How AutoEntry pricing works

AutoEntry is bookkeeping capture for accountants, bookkeepers and businesses: invoices, receipts and statements, published to Sage, QuickBooks, Xero and others. You buy a monthly plan of credits, priced in US dollars excluding VAT (also in pounds, euros and other currencies), and each document spends credits by type.

Unused credits roll over for 90 days. If you run out, you can overdraw up to 200% of your plan by default, added to the next bill. Payment is by card only, and you can cancel up to 24 hours before renewal.

What AutoEntry costs at 200 and 1,000 invoices a month

Arithmetic on AutoEntry’s published plans, choosing the smallest plan whose credits cover the month, without relying on overdraft or rolled-over credits. Prices exclude VAT. Two cases: header totals only (1 credit an invoice) and invoices with line items (2 credits).

AutoEntry pricing vs InvoiceParser Pro pricing

InvoiceParser Pro counts invoices, not credits, and reads line items on every invoice in every plan, so an invoice with 40 lines costs the same allowance as one with a single total. Approvals on supplier invoices (Team and Scale), the arithmetic check and duplicate detection are in the plan price.

Where AutoEntry costs less: when header totals are enough, at 1 credit an invoice, and for bookkeepers who need unlimited users and clients on a small plan. Where it does more: Sage, QuickBooks Desktop, FreeAgent, MYOB and Exact publishing, a mobile app and expense receipts. InvoiceParser Pro does not offer those.
