Nanonets pricing in 2026: what invoice OCR actually costs

Nanonets charges per block a workflow runs, not per seat: data extraction costs $0.30 a page, standard AI steps $0.10 and simple steps $0.02. Every account starts with $50 of free credits and no card; after that, Starter is $100 a month for 100 credits, and Growth and Enterprise are quoted. What an invoice costs therefore depends on its page count and on how many blocks your workflow runs. Nanonets itself puts a typical invoice workflow at 4 to 6 blocks and under $2 an invoice.

How Nanonets pricing works

Nanonets is a platform for building document workflows out of blocks: extract data, classify, check, look something up, export. Each block that runs is charged by its complexity, and the bill is the number of runs times the block price. Data extraction is charged per page, so a 5-page invoice through the invoice model is 5 runs.

You pay with prepaid credits that are shared across your team and never expire. The free Starter plan begins with $50 of credits; after that it is $100 a month for 100 credits. Growth and Enterprise are quoted, and Nanonets says volume purchases unlock discounts of up to 40%.

What is included, and what costs extra

  • Per-run rates, as published: simple operations $0.02, standard AI $0.10, complex AI (data extraction, generative AI) $0.30.
  • Extraction counts pages, not documents: a 3-page invoice through the invoice model is 3 extraction runs.
  • Nanonets’ own guide: a typical invoice processing workflow runs 4 to 6 blocks per document, which it puts at under $2 an invoice end to end.
  • Starter allows up to 3 users. Role-based access control and SSO are listed on Enterprise.
  • Accounting connectors are priced as runs too: Nanonets’ docs list QuickBooks, Sage and Xero exports at $0.10 a run on all plans.

What Nanonets costs at 200 and 1,000 invoices a month

These are arithmetic on Nanonets’ published per-run rates, for one-page invoices. Two workflows are shown: extraction alone, and a five-block workflow (extraction, two standard AI steps such as a check and an export, and two simple steps). Your own block mix decides the real figure; Nanonets’ stated ceiling for a typical workflow is $2 an invoice. Credits are bought in advance, and Growth volume discounts are not applied.

200

About $60 to $108 of runs a month

Extraction only: 200 × $0.30 = $60. Five-block workflow: 200 × ($0.30 + 2 × $0.10 + 2 × $0.02) = 200 × $0.54 = $108. At Nanonets’ own “under $2 per invoice” ceiling, up to $400. Two-page invoices add $0.30 each for the second page.

$79 a month (Starter, up to 200 invoices), or $63 a month billed annually

Line items, the arithmetic check and duplicate detection included.

1,000

About $300 to $540 of runs a month

Extraction only: 1,000 × $0.30 = $300. Five-block workflow: 1,000 × $0.54 = $540. At the “under $2 per invoice” ceiling, up to $2,000. At this volume ask Nanonets for Growth pricing, which it says carries up to 40% volume discount.

$249 a month (Team, up to 1,000 invoices), or $199 a month billed annually

Line items, the arithmetic check and duplicate detection included.

Nanonets pricing vs InvoiceParser Pro pricing

InvoiceParser Pro is a fixed monthly price for a number of invoices, not a meter: reading line items, the arithmetic check, duplicate detection, approvals on Team and Scale, and push to QuickBooks Online, Xero or Zoho Books on paid plans are all inside the plan price. There are no blocks to design.

Where Nanonets can cost less: a short workflow on one-page invoices at low volume, or occasional batches with months of nothing in between, since its credits never expire. Where it does more: workflows across many document types, matching invoices to purchase orders, SAP and Oracle connectors and on-premises deployment. InvoiceParser Pro does not offer those.

How much does Nanonets cost per invoice?

Nanonets charges per block run (checked 4 October 2026): $0.30 for each page of data extraction, $0.10 for a standard AI step and $0.02 for a simple step. A one-page invoice through extraction alone is $0.30; a five-block workflow is about $0.54. Nanonets says a typical invoice workflow runs 4 to 6 blocks and costs under $2 an invoice.

Is Nanonets free?

Every Nanonets account starts with $50 of free credits and no card. After those are used, the Starter plan is $100 a month for 100 credits. Growth and Enterprise are quoted.

Does Nanonets charge per page or per document?

Data extraction is charged per page: Nanonets’ billing docs say running its invoice model on a 5-page document is 5 runs. Other blocks run once per document.

What does Nanonets cost for 1,000 invoices a month?

At its published rates, 1,000 one-page invoices cost $300 in extraction runs alone, or about $540 with a five-block workflow, before any Growth volume discount. Nanonets quotes Growth and Enterprise directly.

Are there cheaper Nanonets alternatives for invoices?

It depends on the workflow. Docparser publishes low monthly plans for rules-based parsing of documents in fixed layouts. InvoiceParser Pro is a fixed monthly price for supplier invoices with line items, checks, approvals and QuickBooks Online, Xero or Zoho Books push included. Our Nanonets alternatives page compares the main options.
