Veryfi pricing in 2026: what the OCR API costs per invoice
Veryfi’s OCR API is free for up to 100 documents a month. Above that, its Starter plan charges $0.16 an invoice (and $0.08 a receipt, $0.25 a check or bank statement) against a $500 monthly minimum; Growth is quoted. It charges per document of up to 15 pages, not per page. Separately, Veryfi’s expense app is $19.99 per active user a month. In practice, anywhere from 101 to 3,125 invoices a month costs the $500 minimum.
How Veryfi pricing works
Veryfi sells an API that developers build into their own products, and bills it monthly by API transactions: one transaction is one document of up to 15 pages, whatever its page count. The rate depends on the document type.
The free tier covers 100 documents a month. Past that, Starter is pay-as-you-go with a $500 monthly minimum commitment, which Veryfi says buys under 5,000 documents a month. Committing to 12 months takes 1 cent off every document, and 10,000 or more documents a month qualifies for a better rate through sales.

What is included, and what costs extra
- Charged per document sent to the API, not per page: a document of up to 15 pages is one transaction.
- The $500 Starter minimum applies each month; Veryfi’s page does not say whether an unused part carries over.
- A 12-month commitment takes 1 cent off every document, so an invoice is $0.15.
- Add-ons such as fraud detection have no published price. The Lens mobile capture SDK is on custom pricing.
- Veryfi offers a free 14-day trial with no credit card.

What Veryfi costs at 200 and 1,000 invoices a month
Arithmetic on Veryfi’s published Starter rates, for invoices only (receipts and statements are priced differently), month-to-month with no annual commitment. The API returns structured data; review screens, approvals and posting to your accounting system are yours to build.
| Invoices a month | Veryfi | InvoiceParser Pro |
|---|---|---|
| 200 | $500 a month (the Starter minimum) 200 × $0.16 = $32 of usage, but past the free 100 documents the $500 monthly minimum applies. If you only ever processed 100 or fewer, the free tier would cost nothing. | $79 a month (Starter, up to 200 invoices), or $63 a month billed annually Line items, the arithmetic check and duplicate detection included. |
| 1,000 | $500 a month (the Starter minimum) 1,000 × $0.16 = $160 of usage, still under the $500 minimum. The minimum is used up at 3,125 invoices a month ($500 ÷ $0.16). | $249 a month (Team, up to 1,000 invoices), or $199 a month billed annually Line items, the arithmetic check and duplicate detection included. |
Veryfi pricing vs InvoiceParser Pro pricing
The two are priced for different buyers. Veryfi prices an API: you pay for data extraction and build the rest. InvoiceParser Pro prices a finished AP app: upload or email invoices, review what is flagged, approve, and push to QuickBooks Online, Xero or Zoho Books, with line items, the arithmetic check and duplicate detection included in the plan.
Where Veryfi costs less: under 100 documents a month (free, if raw data is all you need), or from 1,001 up to about 3,700 invoices a month, where Veryfi’s minimum or its $0.16 rate comes to less than InvoiceParser Pro’s Scale plan, if you build the review and posting yourself. Where it does more: receipts, checks, tax forms, a mobile capture SDK, SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA. InvoiceParser Pro does not offer those.

How much does Veryfi charge per invoice?
$0.16 an invoice on the Starter plan, or $0.15 with a 12-month commitment, charged per document of up to 15 pages rather than per page. The $500 monthly minimum still applies, so below 3,125 invoices a month you pay $500.
